Forward! to the looming cliff.
Forward! to collapse.
Forward! to dependency.
Forward! to relapse.
Forward! in the growing mire.
Forward! in the muck.
Forward! in the sediment.
Forward! ’til we’re stuck.
Forward! to the plebiscite.
Forward! to the vote.
Forward! to the ballot box.
Forward! quote, unquote.

My goal is to produce poetical cartoons. I try to use metaphors and caricatures (or a politician’s own words) to address complex political and social situations. In this way, I sum up current events in humorous verse

  1. ‘Forward’ sounds soooooswell…Everybody wants to move forward, even if they don’t know the edge of the cliff is just ahead. I say lets RETREAT, back to our Founding Fathers…

    Reconstitute America!

  2. Another excellent outing! I love it!

Obama will take us “forward,” (!Pa’ adelante, commandante!) just as progressives have ushered in “progress.”
