Looking at the Electoral Map and the Potential for Voter Fraud

Over the past week, in making my rounds of conservative and libertarian blogs, I have seen numerous comments from people concerned about the potential for voter fraud in the coming election. Voter fraud is worthy of our concern. It’s real. It happens in spite of what Eric Holder, the Democrats, and the MSM say to the contrary.

Sherman Broder at his Property…Freedom…Peace blog demonstrates his concern for voter by wondering if certain dots can be connected and, if so, does it indicate that Democrats are attempting to steal the election? The dots in question are twenty article links he provides all having to do with real voter fraud or by the Obama administration to block voter ID laws or to prevent purging of voter rolls. He also links this article at Human Events by Rodger Hedgecock about stealing the election. He says:

The  voter rolls of this country are stuffed with illegal aliens, felons and dead  people, who not only vote, they vote overwhelmingly Democrat.

Citizens in uniform serving overseas, who might vote Republican, are  routinely denied the right to vote when ballots are mailed “too late” to be  returned in time to count.  When a Republican wins a close race, uncounted  ballots are “found” in the backseat of a Democrat poll worker’s  car.

Rodger then goes on to describe three ways Democrats cheat:

    1. Sign up  illegal aliens to vote.
    2. Sign up felons to  vote.
    3. Keep the voting dead on the rolls.

Yesterday, Rick Moran writing at American Thinker used this title: Voting fraud? Sometimes, it changes history.  The article contains a review of the 2008 Minnesota Senatorial contest between Republican Senator Norm  Coleman and his challenger , Democrat Al Franken. The morning after the vote tally showed Coleman winning by 725 votes. The short version of the story is that the Democrats challenged the results and after eight months of  wrangling and litigation, Al Franken was declared the winner by 312 votes. Later, a group called Minnesota Majority decided to investigate claims of voter fraud. Their efforts found that 1,099 felons had been allowed to vote. Although the state’s Attorney General did not want to prosecute the felons, however, they were pressured into doing so. Thus far, 177 have been convicted. Why not more you might ask.  Well to convict a person of voter fraud in Minnesota requires not only proof that they voted illegally; but it must also be proved that they knew that what they were doing was illegal. So, if a felon says “I didn’t know it was illegal for me to vote” the charges are dropped.

So, let me repeat myself. Voter fraud does happen and it can change the outcome of close elections.

Let’s take a trip to election day 2012 and set-up a hypothetical case. First I need to open this Real Clear Politics link on another page.  Scroll down the RCP page and click on their electoral map. Okay, according to this RCP Electoral Map (I do not vouch for the validity of this map), this is what the numbers at the top mean: if all the red and leaning red states go for Obama, he has a virtual lock on 247 electoral college votes; and if all the blue and leaning blue states go for Romney. ne has a lock on 191 electoral college votes and there are 100 electoral votes up for grabs in eight states.  So, Obama theoretically only needs to win 23 electoral college votes from the eight toss-up states. Looking at the electoral votes for each of the toss-up states, we see there are many combinations that would give Obama his victory. One simple combination would be if he won New Hampshire and Ohio. Obama would reach the magic number of 270 electoral votes.

Let’s use New Hampshire and Ohio in our imaginary trip to election day, 2012. Team Obama has people at every important precinct in all of the toss-up states doing exit polls. The exit polls tell them that Obama will win New Hampshire; but Ohio is neck and neck. Team Obama is prepared for such  a situation. They have their militants ready. They long ago collected the names and addresses of registered dead voters and registered felons and derelicts and each militant has their assignment of what precincts to go to and under what names they should vote.

Back to reality. Please understand that I am not making a claim that Democrats will in fact try to steal this election. What I am saying is that knowing Obama’s history and knowing what low lifes are people like David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett, the potential for voter fraud does exist and we must be prepared.

What can we do to stop or mitigate voter fraud? Plenty! If you live in one of the toss-up states or you have friends or relatives who live in those states, get yourself or them involved in the process. The Republicans and the Tea Parties are going to need help staffing all of the voter precincts with observers so at least the vote counts are honest and that ballots do not disappear. But, the best  way to stop or mitigate voter fraud is not to allow the elections to be close and that means TURNING OUT REPUBLICAN VOTERS! Agian, get yourself, your family, and your friends involved.  The local Republican Parties and the Tea Parties will have lists of registered Republican voters and their addresses. Turning out the vote means going door to door and encouraging the Republicans to go vote and even offering them a ride to and from their voting station, if necessary.

This election is too important to leave anything to chance. You can bet that Team Obama will leave nothing to chance.

Well, that’s what I’m thinking. What are your thoughts?

  1. The Obama Justice department is clearing way for voter fraud by suing the states, like Florida, that try to keep the ineligible populations off the rolls and for requiring voter id.
There is also an allegation that Harry Reid won reelection by stuffing the ballot box:

I recall reading that at the time the Coleman/Franken recounts were happening they found more and more ballots for Franken, and very little for Coleman, which is mathematically impossible to be random.
Romney must not just win, but win beyond the margin of fraud.

      1. Yes, he will have to probably win by 5% in order to make sure the Democrats can’t steal it. If it is closer than that Franken has shown us it is possible to reverse the will of the people.

      2. We sure do and while I am not fond of Romney the more they attack him baselessly the more it actually makes me want to vote for him. I wonder if there are others out there who also feel like this, if so this whole thing could backfire on the Democrats.

  2. In real estate it is all about location, location, location. In close elections is all about turnout, turnout, turnout.

In our recent piece, ‘How to Win A close Election”, we demonstrated that the levels of “enthusiasm” between Democrats and Republicans have suffered a scissors switch from those of the 2008 election; from 61% Democrat and 35% Republican, to today’s 39% Democrat and 51% Republican. This could easily produce a difference of more than 8 million votes that will erase the 2008 Obama advantage.

  3. I have often said that Democrats did not invent voter fraud, but they did write the book on it. It doesn’t take much dot connecting. Obama and Holder don’t care, they will do anything at anytime to prepare the election battlefield for their voter fraud operations.

Sometime back, an article on Hot Air suggested that illegal aliens are a core constituency of the Democrat Party.

The dead always vote for Democrats, and usually in alphabetical order. It’s nice that there is some order about these things.

  4. We have to vote. Like the saying of the New York State lottery: You have to be in it to win it. Well, you have to vote if you don’t want the Democrats to win. Hopefully the voters in November will be energized (or at least offended enough by Obama) to vote for Romney.

  5. Sf nailed the solution. Ready able willing conservatives and friends get the themselves to vote. I would say polling place, but that is getting to be a thing of the past.

  6. I know for a fact that conservatives here in Northern Virginia are going to be monitoring the polls. Furthermore, conservatives in Northern Virginia have been mobilizing for months so as to get out the conservative vote. Still, Northern Virginia is loaded with liberals. At least the rest of the state isn’t.

  7. I am also concerned that Obama is somehow going to try to suspend the November election. I used to say, “He wouldn’t dare!” I now believe that he will dare to do anything if he thinks that he just might lose. 😦

  8. But I thought the liberals said there was no such thing as voter fraud in America? Yes, that’s what they said, but as has already been proven, that just isn’t true.

Turnout really is the key. We need a massive Chik-fil-A day in November.

  9. Thanks for the mention, Jim.

    Consider the following:
    1. The Obama machine hails from Chicago which is notorious for voter fraud, voter intimidation, vote suppression and vote tampering,

    2. The Dem battle against Voter ID laws is a transparent effort to enable fraud. The arguments against presenting an ID at the polling place are patently absurd.

    3. Look at what’s going on in Massachusetts. Just today these two headlines appeared at Weasel Zippers: “Elizabeth Warren’s Daughter Heads Group Using Taxpayer Money To Shuttle Welfare Recipients To The Voting Booths…” and “Mass Mails Out 500K Voter Registration Forms To Welfare Recipients, Effort Led By Former ACORN Execs And The NAACP…”

The progressive mindset is that the end justifies the means. We see this mindset play out in the Occupy Wall Street movement, where lawbreaking is excused, in Obama’s callous executive orders in immigration, etc., which circumvent the law and in the bald-faced lies that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz et. al. tell virtually every day.

Voter fraud is simply more of the same mindset.

    1. Sherman, thank you for the additional bad news. I’ll get over to Weasel Zippers and read more. Obama is a product of Chicago politics which is modeled after the Mafia. There is nothing to low for them stoop to doing. It’s GAME ON and we better turn out like never before if we hope to rid ourselves of Oabama.

  10. I need to write about this, but have a hard time bringing myself to do it. The primary we had in TN last week was just downright weird, and everyone feels it, I think. Bob Corker won by a “soviet union” margin. In 2006, he got 48% of the vote and now, after everything we’ve been through, he gets 88%.

The Ron Paul campaign knows a few things about voter fraud, we’ve seen a lot of it and we need to recognize the forms it comes in.

TN has those touch screen machines with NO PAPER RECORD, despite receiving a federal grant to get a system that does have a paper record. Who knows what’s going on in that thing, what the real source code is, can one wirelessly “jimmy” it to flip votes.

For example, in Louisiana, Ron Paul delegates got more votes than Ron Paul, meaning we are to believe that someone checked Santorum or Romney and then went down the line selecting Paul delegates. Bridges are for sale.

    1. Touch screens are used here in Venexuela too; but there is a paper reciept of your vote that goes inyo a box so that a percentage of boxes can be audited to compare to the electronic results. If Venezuela can do it, surely Tennessee can do it.

  11. In today’s instanteous society and overnight international shipping there is not excuse for not having ballots to and from every military post all over the world in time to be counted WITH their appropiate voting districts.
Agree with sentiments here. Romney was win by a huge margin.
