This was not the subject I intended to write about today. But, some of the crap emanating from the mouths of liberals in defense of the Never-Call-Them-Muslim terrorists has my blood boiling!
My rage started when,by way of Bad Blue, I read this post about a tweet from Geraldo Rivers at Right Wing News:
Regrets to my Muslim brothers/sisters. We know how Boston will aggravate life’s friction-Now’s the time for patience pride & understanding
Really, Mr. Rivera??? Four Americans are dead and hundreds wounded; some of whom are maimed for life and your concern is some knuckle-dragging conservatives may harbor ill will towards Muslims living in our country?
It is obvious where Geraldo Rivera is coming from with this tweet. The vast majority of Muslims in the world and in America are not terrorists and don’t deserve to be looked at or treated as if they were all terrorists. Well, this kunckle-dragging-islamaphobic- conservative will reserve his sympathies for those who were killed or maimed by the Muslim brothers from Boston. Those billion plus “peace loving” Muslims deserve no sympathy until and unless they rise up in mass and put an end to the radicals among them. Otherwise, their silence makes them part of the problem, in my opinion. I won’t be holding my breath waiting for that uprising..
Then my rage was intensified when I listened to a video clip this morning of the O’Reilly Factor. Bill O’Reilly was justifiably in his own state of rage over the politicization of the (Muslim) terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon. His ire was over two film clips he played.
One clip was of a White House press conference where Jay Carney took a question from a young woman, who was, by her attire, obviously a Muslim. Paraphrasing, her quest to Carney was: “The bombing in Boston has been classified as a terrorist attack. Would you also classify drone attacks in Afghanistan that kill civilians as terrorist attacks? And, if not, Why not?” So, this stupid, stupid woman wants to equate what happened in Boston to happens in Afghanistan where the US and its NATO allies are at war with the Taliban. Where, by the way, our military, more so than any military in world, has gone to extreme lengths to avoid or at least minimize civilian casualties. The absurdity of her question is beyond measure. So, Jay Carney put this stupid woman straight, right? Wrong! Let me paraphrase how the gutless wonder responded: “Well, I would have to know more details of the incidence you are referring to and then maybe the Defense Department could respond.” Pathetic!!!
The second film clip O’Reilly played was of NBC special correspondent, Tom Brokaw, who must have been channeling the “stupid woman” at the White House press conference. Brokaw was saying that America must accept part of the blame for this latest terrorist attack in Boston. Like the stupid woman, he suggest America needs to think about its use of drone, which often kill civilians. He reminded his audience that he has spent a lot of time in Afghanistan and many times. He said:that, while there, young people would come up to me and say: “We love America, but harm one hair on my sister’s head and I will fight you forever.” So, what the hell is Brokaw’s point? He has been around for a while. He has covered a lot of wars. Would he prefer we went back to the days fo carpet bombing and poisoning the country side with Agent Orange? Idiot!!!
These people are giving aid and comfort to the enemy!
By the way, you might want to read this CNBC article where former CIA director, R. James Woolsey, talks about how this Administration’s political correctness policy of “Never-Call-Them-Muslim” is hurting our country’s ability to track suspected terrorists.
Okay. Not all terrorists are Muslim. I get it. But, a lot of terrorist are Muslims and it is time our government the liberals recognized that not so minor detail!!!
Well, that’s what I’m thinking. What are your thoughts?

Again, I have to apologize, Prof, for America’s Chronicle has implemented a policy of not paying printed attention to the hypocrisy, mendacity and ionized blabber that comes out of the mouth of Jay Carney (that also goes for Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi).
As to the relevant and significant question you wisely raise of whether silence and complacency in the face of injustice, or plain stupidity with consequences, carries a load of guilt with it, I would have to lean more on the guilty side. Life is full of unintended responsibilities.
“Ionized blabber” and “unintended responsibilties” __ I’ll have to file those away for future usee. Thaks, John!
I can only say the divide has only widened. This cannot continue as I believe many of us feel. The man in the WH is getting exactly what he wanted. Divide and conquer, and old but very succesful way of achieving one’s objectives.
It’s very frustrating, Bunker. But, this asylum is our what we have to live in, and so we will.
I don’t fault liberals for their views. What I fault is the extraordinary attention paid to terminology. What does that have to do with anything?
They are the masters of “terminalogy”. AZ. They use like a club to beat us into the irrelevance.

So we only fight the good fight?
Several years ago, I began to examine the history of this country and just how we came to be the world’s policeman. It started actually after a guy mentioned “manifest destiny” to me. He said wtf was that? God said go kill Indians?
It is the hypocrisy and the start points that people object to. If you want to be a role model and set an example- you cannot run around the world killing people- and then cry when someone kills a few of yours. The Japs attacked a military installation. We are the only nation to ever use atomic bombs on innocents- and by God- you will have a war on your hands when you argue that maybe we didn’t have to do that. I mean after all- a President explained without rebuttal why he had no choice.
Violence begets violence. It is the insanity of the planet that after all of these centuries- we still find it necessary to kill each other. How does that end?
It probably never will. It will take far more courage to stop killing people than it ever does- killing them. Look what happened to Ron Paul when he suggested all this fighting and killing was useless…they are still calling him a kook.
“So we only fight the good fight?”
This was not a post on the merits of war, Brian. If it had beeen, you would have found that our views are very similar.
We are at war in Afghanistan whether you or I like it or not. Our military target enemy combantants and yes there are civilian causualties, which is a tragedy. But, that is demonstrably different than two young Muslims intentionally killing civilians, which was the point of this post.
When you grow up in a world where killing is relatively normal= then you begin to acquire a skewed sense of what normal is. Perhaps the influences on our Muslim terrorists be they Islam, Chechnya, Russia, or the US- worked their magic. That’s all I’m sayin’
That clears things up for me. Thanks, Brian.
This regime is more interesting in protecting the feeling of the Muslims than they are with protecting the American people. Their first thoughts are always sympathy with the Muslims and not with the victims and I find it disgusting!
I want to add that this makes us less safe and emboldens those that would do us harm so yes, this is providing aid and comfort to the enemy.
I definitely think so.
It certainly seems that way, Steve. And, “disgusting” is probably the most civilized word we could choose.
Our entire country, as a whole, is too busy being politically correct to call a spade what it is. In my opinion, that’s why Hitler was able to gain so much power and strength and territory before we put the hammer down on him. Europe refused to recognize what he was and what he really wanted. We are making the same mistake with radical Islam.
” We are making the same mistake with radical Islam.”
I’ve been saying the same thing ever sense I started blogging, Larry.
Last year, I read the Quran. I wanted to know wtf was in it. You can get it online. So for 3 days, I read that thing. Since then, I have argued that Islam is not religion- it is a philosophy of hatred. When you read the Quran- it is not hard to see where the extremists get their view.
If this is God, I don’t want him. Simple as that.
Maybe Gerald needs to take a long look at THIS. Forget any sympathy for the terrorists!
A disturbing post, AOW. I’ll be by shortly to comment. Yes, Geraldo ought to spend some time looking at that photo and reflect on the jihadists response of ja, ja, ja.
I am so sick and tired of political correctness. But that’s not the point. We are at a point where political correctness puts us at increased danger. I am sure you also saw on O’Reilly where Aiwad Nawad (sp?) from CAIR REFUSED to admit that the largest group responsible for terrorism in the world today are radical muslims. Progressives/liberals are all the same. If the facts don’t fit your world view, refuse to acknowledge the facts and lie. Just like Janet Napolitano stating her tried and untrue statement, “The system worked.” Really? 4 dead, hundreds wounded, an entire city placed under martial law for a day and the system worked? Just WHAT system is she referring to?
Ah, perhaps she was referring to the floating of the trial balloon of martial law in Boston. Yes, that worked, didn’t it? (And please dont’ say–but we got the terrorist! He was horribly wounded and the lockdown was NOT what led to his discovery).
Have you ever heard our Leader From Behind use the terms Muslim extremists or Mulim radicals or jihadists or Islamists? Of cousrse not and we never will. He makes me sick!
More and more I am convinced that liberalism is a mental disorder characterized by extreme levels of self-loathing. They refuse to defend western civilization because they are projecting their own self-loathing onto their civilization.
For me the feeling is mutual.
