Agenda 21, Climate Change, Common Core, and Prostitution

This morning I found an e-mail waiting for me from my good friend, Cheryl Pass. Cheryl opertates the My Tea Party Chronicle blog and is a collaborator to the Guest Saturday series here at Asylum. The e-mail contained a link to Chapter 36 of the UN Agenda 21 titled Promoting Education, Public Awareness and Training. Those of you who are concerned about the governments planned “one-size-fits-all” approach to the education of our children; a.k.a, Common Core, should read this chapter of Agenda 21 ansee where many Common Core concepts come from. Here is a small taste that Cheryl highlighted in her e-mail:

Agenda 21

Chapter 36

Promoting Education, Public Awareness And Training

Introduction
1. Education, raising of public awareness and training are linked to virtually all areas in Agenda 21, and even more closely to the ones on meeting basic needs, capacity-building, data and information, science, and the role of major groups. This chapter sets out broad proposals, while specific suggestions related to sectoral issues are contained in other chapters. The Declaration and Recommendations of the Tbilisi Intergovernmental Conference on Environmental Education1 organized by UNESCO and UNEP and held in 1977, have provided the fundamental principles for the proposals in this document.
2. Programme areas described in the present chapter are:
a. Reorienting education towards sustainable development;
b. Increasing public awareness;
c.
Promoting training.

Programme Areas
A. Reorienting education towards sustainable development
Basis for action
3. Education, including formal education, public awareness and training should be recognized as a process by which human beings and societies can reach their fullest potential. Education is critical for promoting sustainable development and improving the capacity of the people to address environment and development issues….To be effective, environment and development education should deal with the dynamics of both the physical/biological and socio-economic environment and human (which may include spiritual) development, should be integrated in all disciplines, and should employ formal and non-formal methods and effective means of communication.

e. Relevant authorities should ensure that every school is assisted in designing environmental activity work plans, with the participation of students and staff.Schools should involve schoolchildren in local and regional …

d. Countries should stimulate educational establishments in all sectors, especially the tertiary sector, to contribute more to awareness building. Educational materials of all kinds and for all audiences should be based on the best available scientific information, including the natural, behavioural and social sciences, and taking into account aesthetic and ethical dimensions;
e. Countries and the United Nations system should promote a cooperative relationship with the media, popular theatre groups, and entertainment and advertising industries by initiating discussions to mobilize their experience in shaping public behaviour and consumption patterns and making wide use of their methods. …

Countries should enhance the ability to gain access to, analyse and effectively use information and knowledge available on environment and development. Existing or established special training programmes should be strengthened to support information needs of special groups. The impact of these programmes on productivity, health, safety and employment should be evaluated. National and regional environmental labour-market information systems should be developed that would supply, on a continuing basis, data on environmental job and training opportunities. Environment and development training resource-guides should be prepared and updated, with information on training programmes, curricula, methodologies and evaluation results at the local, national, regional and international levels.
Yes indeed! Get them young. Brainwash them. And, produce generations of well-behaved sheep. That is what Agenda 21 and now Common Core are about. Common Core is new; but Agenda 21 has been around for a while; so our liberal controlled education system has waited for Common Core to be implemented. They have been busy teaching Global Warming Climate Change non-sense to our children for some time.
Another collaborator Asylum Watch’s Guest Saturday series is a blogger whose handle and blog name are A Conservative Teacher. Please read his recent post, in which he describes how he was upset to learn what his daughter was being taught at her public school:
Daddy, today we learned about how people are cutting down all the rain forests to make stuff. And that driving our cars is causing the ice caps to melt and all the polar bears to die. And that it is only going to get worse until we start doing things different.
And then at the school where he teaches, he and all the other teachers recieved this e-mail from one of the staff:
 “Hoping you all have a happy Earth Day and hug a tree today!”
He was not pleased at receiving this e-mail and fired one back to the sender saying:
“Please do not email me any more emails pushing this pagan and communist ‘holiday’.”
For his effort, he was rewarded by angry mob of teachers demanding he make a public apology. This, my friends, is what your tax dollars are supporting.
How far will people go in promoting their Climate Change green agenda? About as far out in left-field as one could possible get. The web is abuzz today with the latest resolution being pushed by Congressman Barbara Lee and friends:
A number House Democrats have written a resolution calling on Congress to recognize that climate change will hurt the plight of women more than men; driving women into “transactional sex” for survival — among other horrible fates.
So, be aware that the next time you stand up to debunk climate change or Agenda 21, you may well be accused being part of the war on women and of forcing poor women into prostitution.
Do you , like me, think this is an insane world we live in? Just wait. It is going to get worse~
Well, that’s what I’m thinking. What are your thoughts?

  1. As long as the state has a monopoly on education kids will always be brainwashed That’s argument number one for home schooling.

    And as far as climate change forcing women into “transactional sex” I say…um. Up with climate change!

  2. From my local GOP, I received a resolution the national party passed: RNC PASSES RESOLUTION TO SHUT DOWN COMMON CORE CURRICULUM

    Also received the federal regs that state there is to be NO federal control fo eduation. Call your congressmen/senators.

    No provision of any applicable program shall be construed to authorize any department, agency, officer, or employee of the United States to exercise any direction, supervision, or control over the curriculum, program of instruction, administration, or personnel of any educational institution, school, or school system, or over the selection of library resources, textbooks, or other printed or published instructional materials by any educational institution or school system, or to require the assignment or transportation of students or teachers in order to overcome racial imbalance.

  3. I just hope this gets on the agenda for the 2014 election. But the a recent poll showed that over 40 percent don’t even know about obamacare.

  4. Relevant authorities should ensure that every school is assisted in designing environmental activity work plans, with the participation of students and staff.Schools should involve schoolchildren in local and regional …

    Yet another series of BS lesson plans to design! Meanwhile, teaching basic academics will be thrown to the curb even worse than those academics have been tossed aside now.

    A few weeks ago, I read that the SAT, the primary test for college entrance, will be redesigned so as to reflect and support Common Core. In fact, one of the designers of Common Core is now the head honcho at College Board.

    And the noose tightens.

  5. Hi all….one of the commenters above reminds us there is a Federal statute prohibiting the Federal government from taking over education in the States. Absolutely true..and Jim is right…no one is paying attention. The way they get around this is to tie Federal funding to the program and then call it “voluntary”…but you don’t get your State’s federal tax monies back unless you commit to Common Core. Purely “voluntary” eh? Al Capone could not have done it better….or the Godfather. Same methods. Economic extortion. By the way, all of Agenda 21 is unconstitutional…outside of the laws of this nation. And Congress? What are they doing about any of this? Zip…Nada…Zilch. They won’t follow the law…and no one arrests them for their misdeeds.
