“The world can decide in a fit of madness to kill itself,”
“We may not get to 2030. We need to address the problem of climate change urgently.”
“just get on with it”
The undisputable authority behind this dire prediction is none other than Sir Bob Geldof, the former Boomtown Rats singer. So you know it is true. If we don’t stop climate change, all of mankind will be dead by 2030.
But, here’s the thing you have to understand, folks. Man does not have the power to stop the climate from changing. So, shouldn’t we all just try to get along with each other for the next 17 years?
Well, that’s what I’m thinking. What are your thoughts?
My 401k money will run out before that so meeting my maker as a passenger on the fireball that will be the earth in 17 years sounds pretty cool. But since this prenostigator is just one more show biz illiterate politically inept moron who doesn’t ‘t know his ass from a hole in the ground it probably won’t happen.
I hope you get to spemd all of your 401K money before the governments grabs it for “your own good”. :=)
Your suggestion is better than spending $580 trillion to stop climate change that can’t be stopped anyway.
Agreed!
And they just keep ignoring over a decade of flatlined temperatures… My bet: we all die in a new ice age rather than from warming.
They’ll claim that was do to climate change,, too. We’ll never win, I’m afraid.
Man, isn’t it worth a try though? We can stop it if we change our lifestyles and it will be a better planet. There nothing to say we can’t all get along and survive past 17 years! In fact I think getting along is the only way it could ever happen.
