Words of Wisdom from Dr. Seuss and a Rat in a Trap

There are some really clever people out there, folks, and I’m going to share a few examples with you. But, first please look at these two quotes about the deal announced yesterday over Iran’s nuclear program taken from this Fox News article.

… substantial limitations which will help prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon. Simply put, they cut off Iran’s most likely paths to a bomb. _ American President, Barack Obama

and

No matter what interpretations are given, Iran’s right to enrichment has been recognized. _ Iran President Hassan Rouhani

I think there’s been a failure to communicate.

You will note that the clever people I refered to do not reside in the White House. But, Maggie at Maggie’s Notebook had a clever post the other day. It seems that Sam I Am is not happy with his namesake uncle:

Dr. Seuss on Uncle Sam
I bet you won’t find that in any Common Core instructional material. And, Reaganite Republican has some advice to share from a rat in a trap in this clever animated graphic:
NEVER give-up!

Indeed! We must never give up. And, less you think things can’t get any worse let me assure that they can. Here in the socialist paradise where I live, fifteen years of the socialist revolution have led to the scarcity of many things in our local markets. Things like toilette paper and even sanitary napkins. The government blames these scarcities on capitalist oligarchs. Please watch this short video taken from one our government controlled TV stations. It is in Spanish so let me explain what these women of the revolution are doing and saying. They have found a way to fight against the savage capitalist caused shortages of sanitary napkins. They are demonstrating how to make “reusable” sanitary napkins. And, the young woman points out an added advantage over store-bought disposable sanitary napkins. She explains that after the used napkin is rinsed out, it can be hung to dry over your garden and the drippings will serve as a fertilizer. Isn’t that clever!

You all have a great Sunday and please do keep up the good fight.

Well, that’s what I’m thinking. What are your thoughts?
