Some times there is so much going on in our country and the world that it’s hard to decide what to write about. Today is one of those days for me. So, before I get to today’s topic, let me give you a brief look at a few of the news stories that caught my eye. If by chance you missed any these stories, you can go to the links provided for more information. You will note that I don’t mention the “Big News” about the nose dive of the world’s stock markets. This should not be a surprise to any who has been paying attention.
- The FAA Can Get Back To Work. _ T he FAA has been shut down for two weeks because Republicans insisted that $16.5 million in Harry Reid pork to subsidize a handful of rural airports be eliminated. The Senate has finally agreed. That’s good news, right? Not so fast. There is a clause in the funding bill that says the head of the FAA can continue the subsidies if he deems them necessary. A little Washington two-step there folks!
- Holder and Clapper Operating Under Secret Interpretation of The Patriot Act. _ Yep. The Obama administration continues to put themselves above the law. Senators Wyden and Udall are outraged and have introduced a bill to stop this nonsense. Well, mot quite. Their bill actually only ask that Holder and Clapper to admit that they have messed-up. The bill does not force them to roll back their secret interpretations. Sigh!!!
- Obama Continues His Attack On Low Cost Energy For The US. _ ” … the SEC recently asked a gas shale producer in the registration process for an initial public offering (IPO) to disclose the volume of fracturing fluids used per well. They also requested information on the “additional chemicals” present in the fracturing fluids used.” Now why do you think the SEC would be interested in such things? You have to admit that Obama is consistent.
- US Achieves Another Milestone. _ Congratulations folks! Our nation debt is now 100% of our GDP. Maybe now that exclusive club known as the PIGS will let us join.
Any of the above stories would be worthy of a post. But, there was another story that left me shaking my head. You would think by now there is nothing I could learn about our government’s stupid waste of our money that would surprise me. But not so. There is always something more bazaar to learn.
From Fox News, we learn:
“The U.S. funds the PA’s general budget. Through the PA budget, the U.S. is paying the salaries of terrorist murderers in prison and funding the glorification and role modeling of terrorists,” the report reads.
The average salary of a prisoner is greater than Palestinian civil servants – prisoners on average receive $3,200 a month compared with $2,800 for civil servants.
The U.S. government provided nearly $600 million to the PA last year, including $225 million in direct budgetary assistance to the PA, the report stated. But the PA’s new law may violate congressional rules for providing financial aid to the region.
Isn’t that great! We spend billions of dollars every year fighting terrorism around the world and at the same time the foreign aid we give to the PA is being used to pay salaries of terrorist in Israel prisons. This is freaking insane! You have to read this article. I’m sure you will be as incensed as I am.

Along with the money they are giving terrorists org. like the Muslim Brotherhood, and giving guns to the Zeta’s in Mexico, our government is just plain insane!

Once again, the leadership in U.S. government is committing treason against our country by aiding our enemies. It’s the MO du jour. Our State Dept., especially under Hilary, is handing money out like candy to any country that plays the Soros game. Some of this could be attributed to the influence of the United Nations, but hardly the tip of the iceberg. We are spiraling into chaos. This is just one example of it.
I’d like to see Obama handle a question from a reporter on this use of US aid. In fact I’d pay to see it.
Yes, this FAA fiasco really took me out. Fox was reporting the agreement, and as an aside, mentioned that the DOT found a “little known reg” that could permit funding for rural airports. So Terrorist Reid gets subsidy for his airports. This after the Dems could not come to agreement 26 times over the years, and would just vote extentions.
Business as usual I’m afraid. Will we ever elect honest people to represent us?
Why not, we have a whole new war supporting Al-Qaeda? Nothing we do makes sense anymore.

When you realize that Wall Street, in particular the Federal Reserve Bank of NY totally funded the Bolshevik Revolution, and its money has been found backing virtually every bad guy of the last 100 years, should we really be surprised?
No, we shouldn’t be surprised. But we should be damn mad about it.

Yet another travesty perpetuated by the US government. We simply need to take it back in 2012–not just the presidency, but the House and Senate as well.
I wish I could say that this is a one off case but we know it is not. We know, for example, that our State Department, through its aid to the new Egyptian regime, is indirectly funding the Muslim Brotherhood. We are also supplying arms to Egypt, including a number of our most advanced tanks. These actions will inevitably cost lives of our Israeli allies and very like, some day, lives of Americans. This long time policy of playing both ends against the middle is insane!
With the debt rating downgrade Jim…Monday is going to prove to be a very interesting day.

For you far sighted folks that have invested in gold and silver, I am truly happy for you. The rest of us will have suffice ourselves with the hope that this downgrade will serve as a wake-up call to Obama and the Democrats that the socialist experiment is over. That is a lot of wishful thinking ,I know.
And they need a Super COngress to tell them that this is money that should not be spent?
