Often times when giving thought to our blessing, it is necessary to look past recent events in order to see your blessings clearly. So, in spite of the pain we feel from the recent election results, if we look past that tragedy, we will see that we have much to be thankful for.
Have a great Thanksgiving Day! It is special days like today when we expats miss our country the most. I will be thinking about all of you. Tomorrow I will have short post. See you then!

Happy Thanksgiving, Jim. It is a good day, but a hard one as well. This is the first Thanksgiving without Mom and even while hunting deer, my mind has never been far from her.
