The Elites Don’t Trust The Masses. The Masses Must Be Controllled For Their Own Good.

Thomas Jefferson had faith that the American electorate would be very diligent in protecting their freedoms from an over-reaching federal government. Ben Franklin, on the other hand, had his doubts.

The title of today’s post is made up of two sentences. Those two sentences could be a complete paragraph, couldn’t they? Please look at the word “Their” in the second sentence and think about whether it refers to the noun”Masses” in the same sentence or to the noun “Elites” in the first sentence.

In 1979, Barry Goldwater warned us about the Elites in his memoirs, With No Apologies. He wrote at length about the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR), the Institute of Pacific Relations (a subsidiary of the CFR), and the Trilateral Commission. The majority of summaries or excerpts of Goldwater’s memoir are found at conspiracy theory sources. That’s too bad because I don’t think Barry Goldwater was the conspiracy theory type. Besides, conspiracy implies secrecy and the people behind the CFR and the Trilateral Commission are fairly up front about their objectives. I did find one source that has a number of excerpts from With No Apologies without any commentary.  Let’s take a look at some of the things Sen. Goldwater had to say:

Pg. 128:

“The CFR is the American branch of a society which originated in England. Internationalist in viewpoint, the CFR, along with the Atlantic Union Movement and the Atlantic Council of the United States, believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.”

Pg. 277 – 278:

“In September 1939, two members of the Council on Foreign Relations, Hamilton Fish Armstrong and Walter H. Mallory, visited the State Department to offer the council’s services. They proposed to do research and make recommendations for the department without formal assignment or responsibility, particularly in four areas – security armaments, economic and financial problems, political problems, and territorial problems The Rockefeller Foundation agreed to finance the operation of this plan.

From that day forward, the Council on Foreign Relations has placed its members in policy-making positions with the federal government, not limited to the State Department Since 1944, every Secretary of State, with the exception of James F. Byrnes, has been a member of the CFR. Almost without exception the members of the CFR are united by a congeniality of birth, economic status, and educational background.”

Pg. 278:

“I believe that the Council on Foreign Relations and its ancillary elitist groups are indifferent to communism. They have no ideological anchors. In their pursuit of a new world order, they are prepared to deal without prejudice with a communist state, a socialist state, a democratic state, a monarchy, an oligarchy – its all the same to them.”

Pg. 279:

“When we change presidents, it is understood to mean that the voters are ordering a change in national policy. Since 1945 three different Republicans have occupied the White House for a period of sixteen years. Four Democrats have held this most powerful post for seventeen years. With the exception of the first seven years of the Eisenhower administration, there has been no appreciable change in foreign or domestic policy direction.”

“When a new President comes on board, there is a great turnover in personnel but no change in policy. Example: During the Nixon years Henry Kissinger, CFR member and Nelson Rockefeller’s protégé, was in charge of foreign policy. When Jimmy Carter was elected, Kissinger was replaced by Zbigniew Brzezinski, CFR member and David Rockefeller’s protégé.”

Pg. 280:

“The implications in Governor Rockefeller’s presentation have become concrete proposals advanced by David Rockefeller’s newest international cabal, the Trilateral Commission. Whereas the Council on Foreign Relations is distinctly national in membership, the Trilateral Commission is international. Representation is allocated equally to Western Europe, Japan, and the United States. It is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States.”

Pg. 284:

“In my view, the Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power — political, monetary, intellectual, and ecclesiastical. All this is to be done in the interest of creating a more peaceful, more productive world community. Throughout my public life and in these pages I have refrained from judging other men’s motives. I have no hesitancy about judging their wisdom and the results of the actions taken.”

Here is another excerpt from another source:

In his Book Between Two Ages, published in 1970 by Viking Press, Brzezinski calls for an international community of Japan, Western Europe, and the United States to supervise and guide the underdeveloped nations of the world. He declares, “National sovereignty is no longer a viable concept.” He calls for a rewriting of the American Constitution. He condemns the existing federal system of the U.S. sovereign states as no longer necessary or adequate.

Open borders and amnesty, anybody?

Conspiracy theory? It’s not much of a secret what the Elites are up to, is it? And, it is way beyond theory. The evidence of what they are doing can be seen by a blind man.

The Elites don’t trust the masses in a democratic process. If we are objective and honest, we’d have to say, from their perspective, they have good reason not to trust the masses. The majority of the masses are ignorant, apathetic, and gullible. For evidence of that, we need only look at some of the morons the “masses” elected to our local, state, and federal governments. But, although Rockefeller and his elitist cabal are intellectually superior to the “masses”, they certainly are not morally superior. They did not decide to use their intellect and wealth to try to eradicate ignorance, apathy, and gullibility from the “masses, did they? No, they decided to take advantage of those undesirable qualities of the “masses” to create a better world for the “elites”. So, it should be clear that the nanny state is being foisted upon us is not because it is for our own good; but because it is for the good of the Elites.

Well, that’s what I’m thinking. What are your thoughts?

  1. If one believes this to be true, then why fight against it? Why try to change it? If forces far more powerful than the People control everything? If nothing we do makes any difference? Then what does it matter? Why even VOICE disagreement, let alone FIGHT?

If nothing we do matters, then the ONLY thing that DOES matter is what we do.

No dear life or sweet peace bought with chains and slavery for me. Can’t fight city hall? Maybe. Maybe we can’t WIN, but that new black eye they are sporting is evidence that we were there. Evidence that we made them WORK HARD for that control.

  2. Great post Jim! Is it still a conspiracy if it is true? There is no doubt that these people do not trust us and there is no doubt in my mind that there are two classes of Americans today–the rulers and the ruled.

  3. Thomas Jefferson was too optimistic. He couldn’t have foreseen how much education — education that enshrines individual freedoms — would have been so changed. Jefferson would not recognize today’s America and the shallowness of thinking that pervades our society!

I also doubt that Benjamin Franklin would recognize today’s America.

Boiling the frog takes time, and the boiling to which I’m referring has been going on since at least FDR. Only Ronald Reagan brought a brief respite — then back to the boiling. Now we see the results! 😦

  4. I’m thinking Jefferson would have still been right had the media not turned so left and so unethically biased toward this president, for example. Had they exposed all that’s happening behind the scenes, dwelling on the IRS, NSA, Benghazi, Fast & Furious, the TRUE story of the ACA (man, I wish you could have heard my insurance agent of 47 years experience’s stories he told me yesterday about having been one of the first certified brokers for “Covered California”, against his wishes to have to do so, and why he’s the first to ask to be UN certified!..we’re not hearing the hALF of the problems of those poor saps on Obama Care!) ..but I digress (as usual!)……….If the media was truly looking into all these things and more, more Americans would know just what trouble we’re in and would have voted the bum out last year!
